The Trailer Operator is responsible for executing direction provided to the shift operations team to operate the manufacturing assets in a disciplined manner to safely and efficiently manufacture a quality product. The Trailer Operator is responsible for the use of operational discipline instructional documentation including SOP, SMP, SWI, SKP, TWI or any other temporary or permanent approved procedures in addition to adherence to all Site Safety Standards.

- HCl Recovery Storage and Trailer Loading
- HCl trailer purging bay
- S-45 purging of HCl trailers
Essential Functions Of The Job
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of manufacturing assets in disciplined manner adhering to all regulatory and site management systems including thorough completion of process rounds.
- Recognize, react to, and escalate Abnormal Situations to Shift leader.
- Participate in shift exchange for area. Responsible for completion of shift exchange and up to date completion of instructional documentation (including SOP, SMP, SWI, SKP, TWI or any other temporary or permanent approved procedures) and shift communication.
- Responsible for completing all purging, prepping, lock-outs safely and according to site standard to ensure the autonomous maintenance work in the area is on schedule. Writes safe work permits in areas as directed.
- Responsible for escalation of equipment issues to Shift leader.
- Participate in Behavior Based Safety program
- Responsible for creation of high quality work notifications
- Provide feedback to Operational Excellence and Training team for instructional documentation improvement, modification and completeness.
- Participate in Continuous improvement program by generating and communicating ideas to improve the technology and process operations for higher quality, lower cost, safer and more reliable operation.
- Competent knowledge and understanding of HSC manufacturing operations
- Competent written and oral communication
- Competent knowledge of HSC processes/standards and practices
- Must pass the Chemical Operator Fundamentals Test
- Refer to LMS for training requirements
- Must meet HSC P&M hiring requirements
