High level summary of job
The Midland TCS Manufacturing Technical Leader serves as a recognized process technology expert who provides vision, technical expertise, and problem-solving solutions to meet HSC business objectives and ensures functional excellence. The Manufacturing Technical Leader reports to Production, providing a primary point of contact, and is accountable for optimizing process performance and product quality through defect elimination. The Manufacturing Technical Leader collaborates with Dow Run Plant Engineers and Improvement Engineers to assure we are consistent in production planning and performance of our assets.
Essential functions of the job
- Supports Production by managing process performance within assigned plant area. Drives the identification, prevention, and resolution of defects.
- Supports recovery from process upsets as requested by Production leadership.
- Provides stakeholders with visibility of process performance within assigned plant area.
- Maintains functional excellence through the use and oversight of management systems.

Work Experience
The range for this position is $123,000 - $136,000 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
