Hemphill Construction Company is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong physical presence, with the ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist other craft workers as needed.
- Ensure a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the area each day.
- Load and unload trucks and haul/hoist materials.
- Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Valid state driver's license (general operator license).
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to the foreman's direction.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk/stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
