As a Physical Therapist at the Hemphill County Hospital District, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and supervising the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in providing therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Supervise the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in providing therapy.
- Provide direct patient care through various therapeutic interventions.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program.
- Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (can be obtained upon hire).
- Able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects over 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
