Location: Hemphill County Hospital District – Canadian, TX
Hemphill County Hospital District (HCHD) is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Canadian, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice both clinic-based primary care and emergency services in a rural hospital setting.
About the Position:
- Full-time schedule (admin time may be remote).
- Work in a busy Rural Health Clinic alongside 2 physicians and 2 APPs.
- Provide outpatient primary care services with an average of 18-22 patients per day.
- Respond to emergency cases in the ER as part of a shared on-call rotation.
- Utilize eClinical Works EMR for seamless patient management.

Position Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted medical license with the Texas State Medical Board.
- Current certifications in PALS, ACLS, and ATLS.
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
