Senior Accountant - Central-Omaha Location / Join a Wonderful Team - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE!
Locally owned business with a fun, friendly, organized atmosphere, is searching for an experienced Accounting professional to join their team in a balanced, yet challenging and fulfilling role. This is an excellent opportunity to work very closely with an experienced Assistant Controller, Corporate Controller, and a sincere leadership team in this stable, profitable, and well-run company.
- Take ownership for GL accounting activities for one division of this growing company and handle monthly close, expense allocations, bank reconciliations, and post-close budget to actual analysis for this division
- Roll up your sleeves as you review the Accounts Payable, Billing, and Accounts Receivable activities to ensure that the team is inputting details, coding invoices to the proper GL codes, and applying cash correctly while also providing mentorship and guidance to more junior or inexperienced staff members
- Assist the Controller with special projects tied to financial analysis, expense forecasts, and process improvement initiatives that will make the accounting function and company better
