OVERVIEW
Hendall is seeking an energetic and motivated Business Analyst to research and understand how organizations work and understand why people do what they do to get their job done; and who passionately believes that IT exists to support business.
The Business Analyst must be an expert in Human-Centered Design (HCD) and be able to employ the latest techniques in addition to time-tested methodologies, such as interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, and business process description to satisfy the needs of the customer and development team. The Business Analyst is responsible for documenting findings in a format that ranges from use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis so that the technical team can make them a reality. They must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and senior team members from various organizations, industry, and government communities.
DUTIES
- Represent Hendall in the most positive manner with prospective, former and current clients; vendors; and the community we serve
- Interact effectively with a diverse group of staff, clients, and other customers of our services
- Learn and use operating practices of the clients and Hendall
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external customers and internal application engineers to analyze information needs and functional requirements, and deliver artifacts, such as business process maps, requirements documents, use cases, and specifications
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Work independently with end users to define concepts, and under the direction of project managers and the technical lead
- Work effectively with development teams, participate in sprint planning, and provide level-of-effort estimates to the Project Manager
- Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team to achieve successful product direction

Salary Range : $125,000 to $145,000 per year
