OVERVIEW
Hendall is currently seeking a Training and Technical Assistance (T&TA) Support Specialist with a strong background in creating and implementing T&TA plans and content knowledge of substance use and mental health topics to join a project team supporting the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The T&TA Support Specialist will be collaborative and demonstrate focus and attention to detail.
DUTIES
- Organize and coordinate T&TA meetings
- Apply content knowledge of substance use and mental health to develop T&TA plans and timelines
- Develop T&TA quality measures and measure outcomes
- Track milestones and outcomes of T&TA activities
- Develop T&TA resources and products
- Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized and large group T&TA plans based on the outcome of the assessment
- Provide remote T&TA to help improve timely and quality data collection and submission
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual T&TA activity reports
- Collaborate with team members to develop and execute project goals and timelines
- Develop T&TA plans for audiences with diverse learning styles
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences (e.g., psychology, social work, public health) with 8 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in providing T&TA services, evaluating curriculums and training, or conducting needs assessments; and developing reports
- Strong experience in the design and implementation of T&TA activities with diverse audiences
- Experience using T&TA tracking tools
- Knowledge of behavioral health, cultural sensitivity, and presenting to diverse audiences
- Experience with MS Office, including MS Project
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with providing T&TA to Federal Government grantees
Salary Range: $83,200 - $104,000
