Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, and learning on the job. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in our CNC operations while contributing to the organization’s overall success. As a member of our team, you'll be involved in a variety of activities and projects that keep the business running smoothly, all while learning and developing within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC machinery based on provided 2D drawings and specifications.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Utilize tape measures and basic math (including fractions) to ensure proper dimensions and measurements.
- Work within a high-energy, fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines and priorities.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills when collaborating with team members.
- Be proactive in learning and staying updated on industry trends, machinery, and programming techniques.
- Support a variety of internal operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed to support team success and organizational needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of 2D drawings and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Comfortable with basic measuring tools.
- Ability to add and work with fractions in a technical context.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Motivated to learn and improve technical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Prior experience in a fabrication shop or hands-on work, such as welding, is a plus.
- Prior experience in CNC programming or structural steel fabrication is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per hour
