We are looking for an experienced, polished CFP® professional who wants to help further a thriving financial planning practice, with a specific focus on creating financial plans for and servicing our existing book of business.
Henderson Financial Group is a fee-only Advisory firm serving physicians, business owners, executive women, retirees and women experiencing major life change. We pride ourselves on being comprehensive planners and expert product specialists. We act as a fiduciary on behalf of our clients, and are licensed to offer all products a client may need. We make complex financial terms simple. We are a successful Wealth Management team looking for our next full-time team member as we continue to grow and impact the lives of our clients and community. This position is for an in-house CFP® to create financial plans, assist our clients with client service, answer planning questions, and providing general overall practice support for two client facing advisors.
Client Service Responsibilities :
- Answering and responding to client calls for service
- Preparing, updating and reviewing financial plans
- Supporting practice growth by responding to Advisor and client needs throughout the day
No sales or business development is required for this position. This is a position for the passionate professional who simply loves financial planning.

Qualifications
- CFP® certification is required.
- Series 65 desired, but not required.
- The following additional designations are a strong bonus: ChFC, CFA, or CPA;
- Five or more years in personal financial planning
- Direct financial plan modeling and creation experience using RightCapital strongly desired. Prior experience with eMoney, Naviplan or other financial planning software acceptable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients;
- Ability to look beyond the obvious and not stop at the first answers;
- Willing and eager to learn;
- Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Able to work both independently and in a team;
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
