Henderson Harbor Tax was established in 2009 as a specialized tax placement division of Henderson Harbor Group. Over the past 16 years, we have successfully placed tax professionals at every level in private industry and public accounting. We service our clients primarily in the NYC area as well as nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada).
Our Global Media/Entertainment client is looking for a Tax Analyst experienced in domestic partnership tax to support the tax and finance departments. This is a highly recognizable organization offering the opportunity to work with some of the most well respected tax and finance professionals in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, review, and organize tax work papers for submission to service providers.
- Actively collaborate with team members to gather necessary information.
- Conduct thorough reviews of tax work papers, extensions, and returns from service providers while tracking progress on federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Prepare income and excise tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for specific states and international locations.
- Manage and resolve ongoing tax audits at federal, state, and local levels.
- Ensure adherence to foreign tax regulations regarding international transactions and payments based on business agreements.
- Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities within the tax function.
- Engage with various teams across the organization and provide timely responses to inquiries.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred; MST is a plus.
- 1–3 years of recent experience in a public accounting tax role.
- Strong research skills and a solid foundation in partnership tax compliance and tax accounting.
- Familiarity with state and local tax (SALT) compliance is beneficial.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
