Senior Syber Security Engineer - Richmond, Virginia - $200-220K
My client is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to begin the building of an internal cyber security team in th US. This is a global ERP Software provider with major plans to grow in the US market to add to their major UK & European presence.
Job Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity solutions to safeguard critical systems and networks.
- Lead security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management initiatives.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices in accordance with industry standards.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, analyzing threats and mitigating risks in real-time.
- Work closely with IT / sales teams and stakeholders to integrate security measures into new and existing systems.
- Research and implement emerging security technologies to enhance organizational defenses.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with external vendors and security consultants to enhance security posture.
