Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - National Security and Defence
Location: Pittsburgh
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $250,000 - $300,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the technology vision and roadmap that supports our mission of delivering data-driven insights to defence clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the company's mission and goals
- Lead the technical team, including software developers, data scientists, and other technical professionals
- Develop and manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can improve our products and services
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of our platform and infrastructure to support our growing client base
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with our clients to ensure our technology solutions meet their needs
- Oversee the development and deployment of software products and solutions
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the quality of our software and data
- Collaborate with other executives to ensure our technology strategy aligns with our business strategy
- Lead the organization's data security and compliance efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, database design, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience in developing and deploying large-scale, data-driven software solutions
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy best practices
- Experience working in a defense or government contracting environment is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Candidate must hold current clearance or be able to obtain clearance via American Citizenship.
Salary : $250,000 - $350,000
