Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of MEP projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage the project schedule using MS Project, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed efficiently.
- Oversee the coordination and communication with subcontractors, including scope review, contract management, and documentation.
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
- Maintain project directories and documentation in Procore, including project home pages, contacts, and logs.
- Ensure all safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project progress, manage budgets, and provide regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on-site, ensuring smooth coordination between all parties involved.
- Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets established standards and specifications.
- Assist in managing project closeouts and final inspections, ensuring all tasks are completed to satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP project management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project and Procore.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external clients.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project scopes.
- Knowledge of New York's building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
