The Senior Electrical Estimator will play a crucial role in generating accurate project bids by analyzing material and labor costs. The position involves working with detailed takeoffs to ensure precise pricing and collaborating with clients throughout the bidding and project phases.
Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret project blueprints and specifications to create thorough takeoffs and estimate electrical construction costs, including materials and labor.
- Provide post-bid support by negotiating project scopes, costs, and offering value engineering or adjustments as needed.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and address any project-specific concerns.
- Coordinate with the construction team during the budgeting phase and throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple project estimates simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
