What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Network Engineer position at Henderson Scott US?
My client is a large entertainment company in Las Vegas. They are a world re-known company. You must be able to go on site 5 days a week, be local to Las Vegas, and be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
**They would be willing to pay relocation for the right person**
This role is two fold-
1. Lead network engineer for their building- as issues arise, you will be the on site technician for them. They are backed by a global media company, so you will have a whole team behind you as well.
- You need to be a Cisco CCNP Capable Engineer- very good with route, switch and complex routing.
- You also need to understand multicast (network technology/vision)
2. There will be live events in this buiding, you habe to understand how broadcast TV works- having either worked ina suport role for an intergrator or live events so they understand the technology
-Ideally you have experience with wireless broadcast technologies (everest and dante)
Knowledge and Experience
8 years working in integration and/or migration large-scale, mission-critical network implementations/migrations in a 24x7 or global environment.
Knowledge and application of networks within a media agency and content delivery networks are desired.
In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, network hardware, specifically Cisco routers, switches, bridges, gateways, and firewalls.
Strong understanding and practical experience with routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
