Hendersonville Ace Hardware is looking for a skilled and passionate STIHL Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing STIHL equipment, ensuring our customers receive top-quality service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of STIHL equipment, including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools.
Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on equipment maintenance and proper usage.
Conduct routine service and preventative maintenance on STIHL products.
Keep up to date with STIHL product knowledge and attend training sessions as required.
Manage inventory of parts and tools, placing orders as needed to ensure availability for repairs and service.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide expert knowledge on STIHL products, assisting in sales and product demonstrations as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in servicing and repairing STIHL or similar outdoor power equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in small engine repair is a plus.
