Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Detailer with experience in detailing and refurbishing new and used cars. An ideal candidate should have knowledge in the automotive retail industry with a willingness to continue their training for a successful career.

Summary :

• Full Time Automotive Detailer Schedule : Day shifts between 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays, average 40 hours per week.
• Pay Range : Up to $50,000 per year (based on skill level and job performance).

Attendance Expectations :

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts are typically 5-days per week, rotating Saturdays, and may include holidays.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Environment Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet (non-weather) and outdoor weather conditions. Duties are performed primarily in a designated detailing area of the dealership, but may extend to various areas throughout the facility, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement in and out of cars, contact with vehicle cleaning and painting products, and limited interaction with customers.

Verbal and Writing Ability :

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Math Ability :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
