Part Time Porter at Hendrick Honda South Blvd- As a Porter, your day-to-day includes moving and cleaning vehicles, completing various tasks and errands for the dealership, and face-to-face interactions with people.

Pay Range : $17.00 per hour.

Part Time Porter Schedule : flexible morning / afternoon shifts between 9 : 00am-6 : 00pm, business hours Monday-Saturday, average 25 hours per week.

Pre-Qualifications :

Valid Driver's License.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Satisfactory work experience in a customer driven environment.

Ability to work scheduled shifts between 9 : 00am-6 : 00pm.

Job Skills : Attention to Detail.

Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Vehicle maintenance and detailing.

Ability to work at a faster pace.

Customer Service, Communication, Team Player.

Computer Skills :

Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.

Communication Skills :

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations :

The position requires regular and predictable attendance.  Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.

Environment Demands :

Duties are performed throughout the dealership, both indoors and outdoors and off dealership premises. Due to the nature of the position, may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a range of tasks. Regularly interacts with employees from various departments in the dealership and has some contact with customers.

Verbal and Writing Ability :

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Math Ability :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
