JOB SUMMARY
To provide supervision and oversight in the pharmacy department or satellite, ensuring that the pharmacy provides the appropriate level of pharmaceutical care services to patients, while complying with all state and federal laws or rules governing the practice of pharmacy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Minimum Work Experience
Required Licenses / Certifications Active License as registered pharmacist in the state of Texas Sterile Compounding Certification Registered as a preceptor with TSBP
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Supervisory and leadership training and / or experience. Ability to effectively direct and / or supervise personnel as appropriate. Ability to deal effectively with community. Ability to successfully train personnel. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times. Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
