What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Accounting / Billing Clerk -Hospice position at Hendrick Health?
JOB SUMMARY
Displays a broad knowledge base of all aspects of billing Hospice claims. Effectively, accurately and promptly collects documentation, bills, collects, appeals and resolves accounts receivables for all services provided by Hendrick Hospice Care. Assist with Hendrick Hospice Care System for Nursing Facility Medicaid Room & Board Pass Thru Reimbursement including completing check request and maintaining payable / receivable balances.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education High School or Equivalent
Minimum Work Experience 3 years billing experience in health related field
Required Licenses / Certifications
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Hospice Billing Experience Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and performance improvement activity Audit, monitor, and retrieve data Interview others Proven written and editing skills Research information Compile and Analyze Reports Strong computer skills / Attention to details Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis Requires ability to handle confidential information Excellent communication skills Strong customer relationship skills
