JOB SUMMARY
Under the general guidance of the Director of the Medical Staff Office, the Medical Staff Coordinator I works with hospital administration and the Medical Staff. The Medical Staff Coordinator is responsible for technical and administrative support to the Medical Staff department, assists the other members of the department with meetings, credentialing and maintenance of databases, Medical Staff management, Joint Commission Standards and the Medical Staff bylaws.

Minimum Education
- High school or equivalent

- 1 Year Required Licenses/Certifications
JOB DETAILS
- Conducts, participates in and maintains credentialing and privileging
- Conducts, participates in and maintains primary source verification
- Manages and complies with accreditation and regulatory standards
- Facilitates medical staff functions. This includes planning and coordinating committee meetings and completing meeting minutes.
