What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Technician position at Hendrick Manufacturing?
To qualify as a Machine Technician, an individual must be able to setup and operate all machining equipment with or without instruction and provide basic machining functions to the Punch department.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to pass a basic math skills test
- 2 years of machining experience
- Requires ability to read a ruler, set calipers, read blue prints, micrometer and all gauges and measuring devices
- Requires ability to operate forklift
- Performs work independent of supervision
- Set up and operate cut blank punch parts
- Set up and anneal punch heads
- Load and prep parts to be heat treated
- Load and prep punch blanks to be surface ground
