Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and refine production schedules within D365 to ensure timely delivery and optimal workflow.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure material availability and resource readiness.
- Monitor work order progress in real-time, proactively adjusting schedules for delays, equipment issues, or shifting priorities.
- Conduct capacity planning and machine utilization analysis to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Generate detailed reports on schedule performance, KPIs, and lead times to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and quality control teams to align schedules with broader operational goals.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying scheduling inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts with minimal disruption to production flow.
- Provide training and ongoing support to staff using D365 scheduling tools.
- Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards in all planning activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM) or similar ERP systems.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Deep understanding of BOMs, routings, work orders, and production workflows.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues and developing practical solutions quickly.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and organization in planning tasks.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred).
- ITAR: This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
- Familiarity with key manufacturing KPIs like OEE, cycle time, and throughput.
- Experience in high-volume or custom production environments.
