Job Description

Hendrick Medical Center is hiring experienced Critical Care Unit (CCU) / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to CCU/ICU patients
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in hospital initiatives and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

Experience:

• Experience in Nursing required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required to qualify for sign-on bonus

Licenses & Certifications (Required before orientation completion):

• Registered Nurse (RN) License – Texas or Compact State
• CPR – Basic Life Support (BCLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
