What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRO Buyer position at Hendrickson Intl?
Position Purpose :
This individual is responsible for meeting purchasing needs for assigned areas of commodities and / or services including planning, requisition review, process and system input and supplier selection through delivery.
Essential Functions :
- Initiate, develop, implement, and track cost reduction programs for MRO items.
- Coordinate and lead Division MRO Supplier Performance Reviews.
- Negotiate and react to price changes from suppliers.
- Negotiate short and long term contracts with suppliers.
- Track and report plant spending.
- Track and control plant supplies.
- Assist with administrative projects.
