Hendrickson & Long Law Firm is looking for a skilled and experienced Receptionist to be responsible for day-to-day reception functions and general office duties in our office in Charleston WV. As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support across the business. You will ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years’ experience as a receptionist or firm administrator preferably in a law firm environment or other professional, fast-paced, service industry.
Duties in this position include but are not limited to:
· Answering multiple phone line system
· Transferring calls to appropriate office personnel
· Taking detailed messages
· Coordinate use of and scheduling of conference rooms
· Greeting guests and clients with a smiling face
· Day-to-day office operations
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent computer and grammar skills are expected
- Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and other employees
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow direction and handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Can maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with lawyers and support staff
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday
- 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
