Engineer II

Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Hendrickson, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing tools, fixtures, and processes to support existing products and new product development initiatives. Your expertise will be utilized to create innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities:

• CNC machining
• Forging
• Automated cell layouts/material flow
• Equipment rebuilds

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related technical area, preferably Mechanical engineering. A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required, with professional experience in manufacturing engineering in a metal forming and/or automated CNC environment being desirable.

Key Qualifications:

• 3D modeling experience (Solidworks preferred)
• Hands-on experience in tooling & fixturing methods
• Experience in procurement of manufacturing systems and equipment
• Production experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand basic equipment diagrams (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)

The successful candidate will be punctual, self-motivated, and ethical, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to work well within a team environment and collaborate with different functional groups. Additionally, they will be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of safety culture and participating in safety training sessions.
