Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow daily schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Clean, polish, and inspect products to meet high-quality standards.
• Wrap and secure products for shipping, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Construct boxes and skids to prepare products for transportation.
• Operate various hand tools, such as beam cutters and buffers, safely and effectively.
• Utilize manipulators as necessary to streamline production processes.
• Maintain product quality by thoroughly inspecting and packaging bumpers according to established policies and control plans.
• Participate in quality improvement programs, including SMED, kaizen, 6S, and others.
• Enter production data into the QAD system accurately and efficiently.
• Record downtime and maintenance activities in the computerized system.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills, including operation of peripherals and navigation of the downtime spreadsheet.
• Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Work Environment

Our facility adheres to strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting of hazards immediately. Employees are expected to operate tools and equipment safely and follow environmental procedures outlined in ISO14001.

Benefits

This position offers competitive pay rates, with an hourly rate of $17.17 in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
