What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSEMBLY LINE (NIGHT SHIFT) position at Hendrickson?
- Assemble and pack components for semi-trailers suspension systems.
- Operate machines / equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Understands bills of materials and standard work instructions in order to perform tasks.
- Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
- Conduct required quality control checks using common measuring devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
- Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Leader.
- Mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to work in a production environment.
- Must be able to meet production standards and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to follow operation procedures.
- Must be able to read and write legibly.
- Ability to function as an effective team member.
- Ability to assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
- Must be able to physically lift 40 lbs.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen.
- High school diploma (or GED) - proof required
