Position Purpose:
The Hendrickson Engineering Co-Op/Internship role with the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) offers students an incredible opportunity to gain real-world experience while still in school or immediately post-graduation. This role blends classroom theory with firsthand experience, allowing you to apply your skills in real-world scenarios. Essential Functions:
· Working on the design and development of embedded systems and components, such as, but not limited to, vehicle sensing technology and control systems.
· Create CAD models and simulations for ongoing projects.
· Assisting with conducting tests on embedded systems and equipment to ensure they function correctly.
· Supporting with troubleshooting embedded systems and prototypes that fail or require adjustments through testing.
· Assisting with writing, testing, and debugging code for various applications and systems.
· Completing data collection and root cause analysis (RCA) of field and development systems.
· Analyzing data from tests and experiments to assist the engineering team in drawing conclusions and making recommendations for improvements.
· Preparing technical documentation, including but not limited to reports, schematics, and user manuals.
· Collaborating closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members, both within ATG, and cross-functionally across other business units to complete projects and solve problems.
· Understand and apply learned industry and company standards, and regulations, to ensure compliance and safety.
· Assisting in the creation and testing of prototypes through 3D printing, machining, fabrication, printed circuit board (PCB) design, assembly, installation, and calibration to evaluate their performance and feasibility.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary : $21 - $25
