What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - 3RD position at Hendrickson?
Primary Function:
- Use required Hand and pneumatic tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications.
- Prepare parts for coating process.
- Must be able to understand all aspects of the coating process.
- Stage parts for production cells.
- Properly attach shipping brackets according to Work Instructions.
- Operates sit-down lift and high-reach lift trucks as necessary to store or delivers materials
- Loads and unloads trucks with either incoming or outgoing materials. Inventories/counts and moves raw and finished materials from the production floor or storage areas to their intended destinations
- Coordinates UPS shipments and receipts
- Inventories, prepares, and packages materials for shipment
- Possibly load robotic equipment
Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Accountable for quality inspections as required in the relevant workstations.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Continuous inspection of associated equipment and parts used to ensure a good working condition. (Air tools, torque wrenches, nuts and bolts…)
- Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to use pneumatic tooling to assemble and torque product.
- Ability to function in Coating, Production, and Shipping Brackets areas, as assigned.
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
Educational Requirements:
- Accredited High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Experience Required:
- Prior manufacturing experience strongly preferred, 1-2 years
Necessary Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
- Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
