Essential Functions:
In addition to standard Assembly or Materials Essential Functions must be able to:
- Production (Assembly):
- Safely perform a wide variety of Production processes in assigned area and cross train throughout the department.
- Ensure safety compliance always and communicate safety updates to procedures as needed.
- Perform multiple equipment set-ups and changeovers as needed.
- Perform problem solving and troubleshooting activity to resolve minor to moderate issues and escalate moderate to severe issues to the Production Coordinator or Production Supervisor.
- Work on the line to maintain takt times.
- Obtain/maintain Harvey Ball Level 4 in assigned areas.
- Actively participate in incident/accident investigations.
- Work to reconcile red tag/rework activity.
- Participate in process improvement projects and act as subject matter expert.
- Act as a mentor and resource to their peer group.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Materials:
- Safely perform a wide variety of Materials processes in assigned area and cross train throughout the department.
- Ensure safety compliance always and communicate safety updates to procedures as needed.
- Train to safely operate all material handling equipment.
- Ensure material handling processes are supporting established inventory and productivity levels.
- Obtain/maintain Harvey Ball Level 4 in assigned areas.
- Actively participate in incident/accident investigations.
- Participate in process improvement projects and act as subject matter expert.
- Perform problem solving and troubleshooting activity to resolve minor to moderate issues and escalate moderate to severe issues to the Materials Coordinator or Materials Supervisor.
- Act as a mentor and resource to their peer group.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the parts, processes and equipment for the assigned area.
- Demonstrates ability to be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
- Computer literate using Windows based software.
- Assembly experience preferred (if assigned to Assembly)
- Material handling equipment experience preferred (if assigned to Materials).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerancing preferred.
- Must remain in good standing regarding safety, quality, policy, performance and attendance (2nd written warning or higher is no longer in good standing).
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 40 lbs frequenty
- Perform repetitive work

- Exposure to manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently and assist Coordinator/Supervisors as directed.
