Position Summary
The Logistics Account Manager is responsible for handling all operations from load entry to rate approvals to all levels of customer service on specific customer accounts. Customer service, critical thinking, and decisive actions within a fast-paced freight management organization. Communicate and disseminate 3rd Party Logistics solutions for assigned customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Logistics Account Manager oversees the day-to-day freight operations for specific customer accounts in a 3PL and asset-based environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service on assigned accounts.
- The Logistics Account Manager builds shipments for customers as necessary.
- Provide spot rate quotes on customer’s day to day and long term freight needs.
- The Logistics Account Manager builds relationships with customer’s day to day contacts.
- Handle accounts receivable (AR) operations for customer.
- The Logistics Account Manager provide rate approvals for carrier sales representatives.
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments as needed.
- The Logistics Account Manager reports directly to the Brokerage Operations Manager.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience using software Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year Account Management or Customer Service experience

Physical Demands:

Salary Range:
Disclaimer: The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 annually plus bonus. This range is based on market data and internal equity. The final offer will be determined by various factors, including the candidates experience, education, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
