We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Machining Specialist to take designs from concept to machine-ready programs. This role involves CNC programming, machine setup, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality, efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and optimize CNC machines for custom manufacturing projects.
- Develop CNC programs using G-Code, M-Code, GibbsCAM, and MasterCAM.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting, tool path creation, and part programming.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are optimized for machining.
- Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Oversee first-piece approvals and ensure quality standards are met.
- Mentor and train machinists and programmers to improve team capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in G-Code, M-Code, and multi-axis CNC programming.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAM software.
- Background in manufacturing engineering with a focus on process optimization.
- Experience leading teams in a machining environment.
