Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the fabrication and assembly of structural products
- Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine materials, operations, and sequence of operations required
- Requisition materials and ensure efficient use to meet production goals
- Inspect work in progress and finished products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards
- Perform welding tasks using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment
- Assemble parts by bolting and perform repairs by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling parts
- Operate shop cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed to support production
- Follow and enforce company policies and quality assurance procedures
