The ideal candidate will have NAVSEA experience, strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate program performance, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and profitability metrics.
- Serve as a liaison between fabrication partners and leadership, and communicate directly with customers as needed.
- Track and report program metrics, risks, assumptions, and milestones using project management tools.
- Prepare project and program documentation, including presentations for internal and external meetings.
- Identify and report risks or interruptions affecting budgets, timelines, or quality, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Monitor and manage work orders outside the original scope, ensuring proper approvals and invoicing.
- Recommend resources, schedules, and potential program enhancements for increased profitability.
- Manage technical data and program documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Communicate project updates effectively to team members, departments, and customers.
Qualifications
- NAVSEA experience is a must
- Multiple years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing/production settings.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, including Microsoft Project.
- Experience managing departmental budgets.
- Preferred experience in heavy plate fabrication and welding.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Multiple years of relevant experience, including a supervisory or managerial role.
