Henjes, Conner & Williams, PC is seeking a payroll and bookkeeping specialist with a two- or four-year degree (or equivalent experience) to join our team. Pay and Benefits:
Hourly pay of $18-25 per hour based on experience. We offer competitive benefit programs including health, life and disability insurance, 401(k) and profit-sharing plan, cafeteria plan, and paid vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare periodic payrolls, payroll tax and sales tax returns
- Perform general monthly and quarterly bookkeeping
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Perform sales tax and payroll tax research
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent experience)
- Two or more years experience in payroll preparation and general ledger preferred
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding attention to detail
- High moral and ethical standards
- Takes ownership and pride in their work
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Ability to research complex payroll and sales tax issues is a plus
