What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inner Tube Assembler position at Henke Sass Wolf Of America?
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Disassembly of optical systems (unloading from tube)
- Clean and inspect unloaded rod lenses
- Alignment and rebuilding of optical systems
- Alignment and bonding of optical components
- Inspection to specifications
- Repair of inner tubes using the processes mentioned above in conjunction with any other means necessary.
- A small amount of data entry may be required.
- Other tasks, such as evaluation and training of new employees may be required.
- The employee is also responsible for any other tasks at the request of the team leader, or the management, including moving to another position within the company.
Typical Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit and use a microscope and an eye loop for up to 7 hours a day
- Must be in the position to utilize precision positioning equipment.
- Must have excellent hand / eye coordination.
- It is necessary to be able to move between manufacturing equipment and workbench.
