Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at Henkel. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost optimization, supplier efficiency, and compliance with corporate standards. By fostering strategic vendor relationships and collaborating across departments, you will play a critical role in driving organizational success and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Objectives :
Develop and implement robust procurement strategies and policies to optimize costs, enhance supplier efficiency, and ensure comprehensive documentation and traceability.
Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and cultivating long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Deliver bottom-line and top-line results by effectively managing spend and projects in alignment with annual and long-term targets.
Partner with Regional and Global Leads to define and execute procurement strategies for assigned spend categories.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational objectives and business requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, payment conditions, and mutually beneficial agreements.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and pricing fluctuations.
Perform regular risk assessments and implement countermeasures for selected spend categories to mitigate potential disruptions.
Primary Responsibilities :
Source and negotiate with potential suppliers, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria and organizational standards.
Maintain and enhance supplier relationships through regular communication, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop tailored procurement plans.
Continuously evaluate and refine procurement practices to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings to senior management.
Implement sustainable and socially responsible procurement practices, including supporting local suppliers and promoting ethical sourcing.
