YOUR ROLE
The Logistics Lead employs facilitation and collaboration skills to influence team members and others to achieve results. They address needs with the storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods in the most efficient manner. The Logistics Lead also has the responsibility to foster the onboarding process for new hires into the Logistics Area by providing training.
- Provide support and assistance to the Shift Manager to organize daily needs of the team
- Ensure proper operation of all warehouse equipment including forklifts, batteries, sweeper/scrubber, palletizers, stretch wrap machines, etc.
- Assist the Shift Manager in overseeing the receiving, shipping, storage and inventory control of all materials
- Communicate with all production departments for supplying packaging materials and support
- Communicate inventory levels of all warehouse supplies to the Shift Manager
- Provide daily support to team members to ensure all operations are on track and manage escalations where it is not on track while supporting the team members to make corrections to minimize downtime
YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all areas of logistics
- Certification required to operate forklifts, palletizer, floor scrubber, clamp trucks
- SAP and WMS experience preferred
- Must be able to work 12 hour NIGHT Shift scheduled (2/2/3 schedule) – 5:45pm – 6am, rotating days, includes every other weekend & some Holidays
The salary for this role is $23.00- $33.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
