What You´ll Do
- The Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving, cycle counting, and managing all storage and movement of semi-finished goods and labels.
- Review production schedule daily, create transfer orders for all required materials required for production orders within 72 hours, and make necessary changes as notified.
- Review and close STO’s daily.
- Follow plant 5’s standards for staging areas.
- Utilize SAP to verify (via the bill of materials) all semi finished goods and components needed for production.
- Physically verify / count quantities – place orders with storage warehouse / send escalations as needed.
- Lead batch board meetings and provide notification of shortages within a 24 hour period.
- Communicate any potential material outages and work with planning team on delivery status.
- Complete inventory cycle counts required by inventory control team.
- Receive materials systematically through SAP; unload trailers, conduct blind counts, and stage pallets in warehouse as needed.
- Manage spreadsheets tracking sheets for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Communicate loads with storage warehouse via SharePoint.
- Operate PIT.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a production environment/manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must have basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to problem solve.
