What You´ll Do

• Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations.
• Execute engineering test requests accurately and efficiently while adhering to site safety practices.
• Runs and upkeeps lab equipment, leads and supports ongoing lab standardization, harmonization and administration of lab test methods. Capable to operate various lab equipment including robotic dispense, lasers, microscopes and mechanical property testers.
• Creates technical reports, maintains electronic lab notebooks and other digital documentation tools.
• Ensure laboratory and application equipment are calibrated and safety checked in compliance with local regulations in a timely fashion.
• Understanding of mathematical and statistical methods relevant to product testing.
• Perform internal lab demonstrations and training.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials or chemical engineering, or polymer science; degrees in a scientific field or other engineering field with hands on experience will be considered.
• At least 3 years, preferred 5 years, experience working safely in a chemical lab
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, and statistical analysis software such as Minitab or .jmp
• CAD and Python Skills a plus

The salary for this role is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
