YOUR ROLE
- Supports adherence to the production schedule by performing machine set ups and change overs.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; soliciting information from line operators and other production associates, and listening for problems. Uses precision measuring and testing instruments, gauges, and other hand tools to complete essential functions.
- Verifies effectiveness of repairs, improvements and ensures product produced meets specification.
- Performs and documents all preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s operation and maintenance schedule, policy and procedure and facility guidelines. Ensures on time completion.
- Assists in the development of user instructions and job aids.
- Works closely with engineering and other functional groups to implement process changes, process qualifications, tests, protocols, validation and other department projects.
- Conducts root cause evaluations and identifies corrective actions
