What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Specialist position at Hennepin Autism Center?

HAC BEHAVIOR ANALYST ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Conduct probing sessions to identify key deficits of prospective clients.
Conduct weekly training sessions for direct service providers.
Collaborate with BCBA to develop individualized treatment plan.
Work with BCBA to adjust specific components of a procedure or treatment
objective (e.g., treatment targets, treatment goals, data collection and measurement, reinforcers, reinforcer delivery, prompts, instructions, materials, discriminative stimuli, contextual variables)
Observe providers and clients to determine if the procedure components function effectively for the person, or if they require adjustments
Provide Active direction of an EIDBI provider while that provider delivers a service to the person to do any of the following activities:
Ensure the provider is implementing procedures correctly
Correct errors in implementation
Train the provider to implement a modified procedure
Observe a child with or without a provider to test Implementation of new procedure to determine if changes are needed to improve the person’s progress, or Test a modified protocol.
Analyze treatment data and collaborate with BCBA to adjust treatment programs as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
