Description
The 24hr Response area in Child Protection is hiring a limited duration Social Work Unit Supervisor to provide floor supervisor duties related to intake, screening, and rapid response. The position will supervise the overall processing and assignment of child protection reports and provide support to the Rapid Response Team (RRT) staff during responses of immediate safety concerns for children. This position will not supervise direct reports but will provide supervisory guidance to all 24hr Response area staff working in hours overlapping with the floor supervisor.

Location and hours :
This position is remote. Remote workers may be required to come on-site 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours will be regularly scheduled as Monday 5pm-10pm and Friday 5pm-10pm. An additional 10 hours may be scheduled (up to 20 total hours weekly) during evenings or weekends based on coverage needs for the area and will be approved by the program manager as needed. While this position is designated as remote, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position, you will :
Need to have :
Master's degree or higher in social work or closely related field (or licensed as a graduate social worker by the Minnesota Board of Social Work) and three years or more of experience as a social worker.
Nice to have :
With direct supervision of Child Protection Social Workers.
Foster an environment that recognizes and respects cultural, lifestyle, and socioeconomic differences.
