Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for designing business processes to assist in improving the timeliness and accuracy of the information used for decision making throughout the Company. This position uses systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner. This position works cross functionally throughout the organization.
- Planning and Forecasting – Support the financial planning activities for the business and provide insights for all planning activities including budget and forecasts; build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners to develop financial plans and ongoing forecasts for departmental expenses and headcounts
- Financial Modeling – Create and maintain ad-hoc financial models and schedules sourcing data from multiple systems; respond timely to business requests including P&L analysis of various locations, departments, and the company as a whole
- Financial Analysis – Analyze, communicate, identify and advise management on the key drivers of the business (against history, budget, forecast)
- Assist accounting and finance management with other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed
- Evaluate current processes and identify improvements for recommendation to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for the organization
- Collaborate with team members in a cross functional manner for projects and initiatives as needed
- Create ad-hoc reports measuring performance of project initiatives
- Test and validate process initiatives for sound operation and accurate data for most efficient implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Ability to interact cross-functionally with other departments
- Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- Effective written and oral communication skills in order to liaise between the user community, executive sponsors and the technical team
- Must submit to and pass a background and drug screen
- Must maintain a valid GA Driver's license with a good driving record
Working Environment & Physical Demands
Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
