Hennig, Inc., located in the Rockford, Il area, is seeking an entry level Helpdesk Specialist to join our rapidly growing company. Hennig, Inc. is a worldwide leading manufacturer of machine tool protection and stand-by power packaging.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Responding to user inquiries and tickets, and providing technical support via phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems and applications.
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation and support resources.
- Escalating complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel or departments.
- Tracking and documenting all support requests and resolutions.
- Assisting with the set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
- Assisting with end-user training and support for new technologies.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and enhance user experience.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
