Summary: The 3rd shift Mechanical Assembler is a person who puts together or fabricates components for machines or mechanical products. They must have strong manual dexterity and knowledge of mechanical equipment to properly assemble parts and components. They follow engineering blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to assemble parts or pieces. They also use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. They may perform quality checking, testing, and in line inspection of the completed items

Education: High School Diploma/GED required
Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred
Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions (SAE & Metric measurements).
- Operate power and hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly instruments.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions (SAE & Metric measurements).
- Perform mechanical equipment troubleshooting according to inspection procedures.
- Maintain high quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Provide support across all production areas as needed
- Uphold departmental 5S housekeeping standards
Qualifications & Requirements:

Skills
- Knowledge of specific tools and equipment used in the industrial industry.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and instructions
- Forklift and Overhead Crane operation experience
