If you are a Certified Medical Assistant with a and cosmetic dermatology support, we are looking for you! We want the staff that will treat our patients like family, and who wants to be part of an exceptional team.T his is a FULL-TIME position in Basking Ridge, NJ and Hillsborough, NJ. We are looking for flexible employee(s) to fill spots in both of our office locations. The clinical duties of this role will include but not limited to: assisting with direct patient care, preparing exam rooms, obtaining patient histories, greeting patients, documenting professionally in the EMR, assisting providers with examinations, prior authorization, proper documentation, maintaining inventory supplies, communicating and or placing orders for supplies as needed, as well as educating patients and/or advising patients within the parameters set forth by the Medical director of the practice and finally ability to triage phone calls and other light administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills for effective appointment scheduling
- Excellent communication skills for phone triage and patient interaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using medical office software and electronic health records
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
Experience and Education:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Have successfully completed a Medical Assistant training program
- Plus if Current Certification for Medical Assisting
- Prior dermatology experience a plus but not required
- Prior HIPAA training, experience, and/or understanding
- 2 years of working in the healthcare field
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Superior customer service skills
The right candidate will have:
- 1 years working directly with a dermatologist in a practice setting (PREFERRED)
- 2 Strong , scribing, e-prescribing and pre-auth experience.
- General knowledge of dermatology conditions, medications and treatments (PREFERRED).
- General knowledge of cosmetic procedures including injectables, lasers, hair transplant and other aesthetic treatments is strongly preferred.
